Terms Of Reference

MEETING HELD AT HALESOWEN CRICKET CLUB 21.5.2007

The meeting was called to raise money for the Paul McCann fund for needy children. The aim is to raise money for children’s charities and organisations and individual children with special needs.

A website would be created in that name.

It was also agreed to support the N.S.P.C.C. AND CHILDLINE

Also to format proceedings and terms/conditions of the fund.

Item 1

On completion of fund raising events a fund manager/s will be nominated by the McCann family, Brian and Pauline, to administer donations to charities, organisations and Individually nominated children with special needs. The McCann’s will also advise the nominated Fund Managers regarding administration.

Item 2

The McCann family reserve total rights as to who donations are made and change beneficiaries at any given time without appeal or notice.

Item 3

Beneficiaries can be informed verbally or in writing of the decision to donate to the individuals, organisations or charities. This can be undertaken at any time during the fund raising procedure.

Item 4

Individuals, charities or organisations that are informed verbally or in writing, that they have been nominated for a donation and fail to collect this donation in 30 days this, will have the donation returned to the fund and any other donations will be at the discretion of the fund managers. Written receipt of the parents/guardian of the individuals, the treasurer or trustees of the organisation or the trustees/ treasurer / appointed representative of the charity will be sufficient discharge for the fund manger/s

Item 5

An accounts manager will be nominated to keep records of the fund expenditures.

Item 6

No individual will have the right to make any decision on policy, statements, financial or fund raising without the written authorisation from the fund mangers or the McCann family.

Item 7

Fund mangers and the McCann family reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions at any stage during the life of the fund.

Item 8

All proceeds from fund raising activities will be distributed to charitable, individual and organisations considered as being beneficial causes in accordance with the above terms of reference.
